Daniela MELZIG arbeitet als interdiziplinäre Künstlerin in den Bereichen Multimediale Installationen & Performance. 

Sie nimmt regelmäßig an internationalen Ausstellungen, Ausschreibungen und Wettbewerben teil.

Ortsspezifische Werke nach Themenstellung und Auftrag sind neben ihrer freien Arbeit ein Teil ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit.​ Als Kunstvermittlerin und Kuratorin arbeitet sie mit Museen und Institutionen zusammen.

"Daniela Melzigs künstlerische Praxis dreht sich um die Schaffung interdisziplinärer Kunstinstallationen, die klassische Kunstformen mit musikalischen und performativen Interpretationen verbinden. Ihre Hauptthemen umfassen die Vermittlung von Kultur, Geschichte und Themen von Krieg, Tod und Liebe. Melzigs Medium beinhaltet oft zeitgenössische Fotografien, Grafiken und bearbeitete Bilder, um neue Aufmerksamkeit auf historische Ereignisse zu lenken, mit einem bemerkenswerten stilistischen Ansatz, um berührende Verbindungen durch Motivsymbiose und Bildanalogien zu schaffen."

2023 wurde er ins Deutsche & Europäische Markenregister aufgenommen.

ARTIST STATEMENT

"Meine Materialien sind zart und durchscheinend. Nähert man sich ihnen unvorsichtig, verschwinden sie, so wie ein Augenblick, der gestört wird. Die Umstände müssen stimmen, um Gedanken zeigen zu können. Ein Schattenbild ist auch nur dann sichtbar, wenn sich die Sonne nicht hinter einer Wolke verbirgt. In meinen Performances erlebe ich die unterschiedlichsten Welten und kann meine Kunst mit anderen Menschen teilen. Ich liebe die Arbeit in der Natur unter freiem Himmel. Mit unseren erlebten Eindrücken kann ich in die Stille gehen und meine Geschichten und Lichtmalerei spinnen. Die Performance ist für mich die Lebendigkeit und die Verbundenheit mit der Äußeren Welt. Performance & unikate Lichtmalerei zusammen machen die Kunst und meine poetische Bildsprache für mich Vollkommen."

Artist Statement
Under my brand name Transparente WELTEN®, I dedicate myself to interdisciplinary art research that dissolves the boundaries between tradition and modernity.
By blending traditional glass craftsmanship with genres such as painting, graphic art, photography, film and performance, I create multimedia objects and installations characterized by transparency and lightness. A symbiosis of glass, light and movement.

My commitment to ecological sustainability is reflected in my practice of working outdoors and using natural materials.

As a networker, I operate at the intersection of social practice and site-specific installation, transforming historical events into the present moment through monumental in-situ installations.

My art—rooted in the fleeting moment—transports the audience into worlds of fantasy, the unfamiliar and the past; worlds where time seems to stand still and everything is bathed in a hazy, ethereal glow.
