Data Protection

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in the data protection information listed below this text.

Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The person responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is the website operator. You can find the contact details below in the "Responsible office" section.

How is your data collected?
On the one hand, data is collected that you personally communicate to us, e.g. via the contact form or in a telephone call. On the other hand, data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website. This is usually technical information such as Internet browser, operating system or the time the page was accessed.

What is your data needed for?
Some of the data is required by us to ensure error-free provision of the website. Your user behavior can be analyzed with other data.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Detailed information regarding your rights as a data subject can be found below in the "Rights of data subjects" section.

Your surfing behavior can be subjected to statistical analysis when you visit this website. Detailed information on the use of such analysis methods can be found below in the “Plugins and Tools” section.

Notes on data transfers to the USA
Tools are used on this website whose providers are based in the USA. These tools transfer personal data to the servers in America. The USA is not a safe third country within the meaning of the GDPR. US companies are obliged to release personal data to security authorities without you as the person concerned being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) will process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. The website operator has no influence on these processing activities.

hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7 in 10249 Berlin. When you visit this website, your IP address is recorded and stored in log files. STRATO stores the IP address for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks.

STRATO operates two data centers in Berlin and Karlsruhe. These meet a very high level of security in terms of physical security, energy supply, air conditioning, network connection, reliability and access control, which we demonstrate through certification in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001 security standard. These data centers are used exclusively by STRATO. There is neither collocation nor server housing and accordingly no access by third parties (except for maintenance, etc., but here an obligation to accompany STRATO employees applies). The data centers are designed for very large hosting dimensions, both in terms of space and energy. Most systems are duplicated to ensure maximum service availability.

An order processing contract was concluded with STRATO AG in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. Since these fonts are located locally on the STRATO server, no connection to the Google servers is established in order to display the fonts correctly.

In order to use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As the operator of the website, we have no influence on this data transfer.

Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and to make it easier to find the places we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time. Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
