Site-specific performative experiments

My artistic intention is to mix and explore classical and modern materials and techniques. I place them in historical, spatial, and social contexts. My figurative art form begins with performance, in which the human being and their own body recede into the background, becoming the mediator of statement and visual language. For me, performance represents vitality and connection with the outside world. Captured in videos and as Lightpainting on glass, the art and my poetic visual language are complete for me.

The ARTWORK
*Guardian of ART I & II* began in 2024 at the exhibition's opening event at
Villa FILIPPO FARSETTI, Venetia, Italy.


It just happen ....... I performed on the villa's grounds during the lunch break oft he Vernissage. Sometimes alone, sometimes with an artist from South Africa. As a Memory of Time & History, I created the light painting on glass and a short video performance, which I published on Instagram. There is a double meaning in the video performance. Like a Grenadier Guard, I performed in front oft the villa.

Society inside, the artist outside? Or ist the art protected from the prying eyes oft he social media? „Le coup d’oeil“ belongs to the connoisseur .... n’est-ce pas?

My works capture the invisible energy and constant movement of a modern metropolis. By combining digital photography with traditional glass working techniques, I create a visual superimposition of layers of time. The blurriness of movement is frozen on the rigid medium of glass. The work reflects the fast pace of life and transforms urban space into a calming, transparent aesthetic of light.


Every new background makes the image appear in a new context.The blurriness is part of the artistic concept.
